On 27th May, Student representatives from Experimental High School Attached to Chinese Academy of Sciences came to IWHR to visit Hydrological expert and Chinese Academy of engineering, Wang Hao. 

Students walked into the research centre, firstly visited the sand table model of South-to-North water diversion project, and then listened engineering talking about the project meaning and building process. After this, the students visited Dr. Wang Hao in a meeting room. They proposed a lot of questions, such as: Is it difficult tode research? What’s your mainly research field? What kind of difficulties have you met during the research? Where is the drinking water coming from? Dr.Wang answered their questions in a humorous way.

Dr. Wang encouraged students to think and learn actively. Besides, he strengthened that juniors should have healthy bodies and help each other to advance.

In the end, children gave their drawings to Dr. Wang and made memorial finger print with him. Dr. Wanggave students books and disks about water and hoped them to learn more from it.
