The senior seminar on “Infrastructure Construction of Maritime Silk Road” was held in Xiamen, on 16th May, 2017. Dr. Wang Hao, the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the seminar and gave conference report.
During his speakings, Dr. Wang pointed out problems of water resources along the "Belt and Road". He said that different regions have different water problems, such as flood, drought, water deficiency, water pollution, ecological degradation and so on. While China has accumulated rich experience when solving its own water problems, we can work with the Belt and Road countries together to explore new ways to solve water problems.
