2017 Annual Conference and Symposium of Water Resources Committee of CHES was Held in Chengdu from 4^th to 6^th Sept, 2017. The topic of this conference is “Scientific and technological innovation and efficient utilization of water resources”. The main sub-topics include ecological civilization and evaluation of water resources carrying capacity, water resources safety security and allocation strategy, green hydropower and cascade reservoir optimal scheduling, innovation technology of unconventional water resources development and utilization, measures of water resources safety protection in key regions. More than 150 representatives attended this conference. Dr. Wang Hao gave keynote speeches and 22 scholars gave academic reports.
